Lynn Edmonds, owner of Life In Focus, approached Smart Site Designs to help with a couple of graphic design request to help bring life to the business. We started working on rebranding and soon after we ventured into a complete redesign of the existing website.
Smart Site Designs started out with the goal to design a logo and a color scheme that is vibrant and reflect well on print materials such as business card. This design needed to reflect the business as well as what they offer. Once the logo was complete, Lynn wanted to work towards a consisting look throughout her business, so we worked together in designing a business card that would incorporate the logo, color scheme and an area where date and time of appointments could be included.
Working towards and overall brand we decided that a complete redesign of the existing website was in order. Working closely with Lynn, we created a design that would meet her goals and reflect the business. We worked with the new logo and color pallets to add a spark and inject life into the overall website. This added a consistent look and feel across the business.
When developing the site we wanted to improve the overall usability and make the site more user-friendly, and ensure that visitors had all the contact information and all professional and community services easily available, as well as, add a link to Lynn's new business Facebook page.
Life In Focus has a lovely garden, trail and labyrinth and in order to convey that in the website, Smart Site Designs took photographs of the property and used the images in a slideshow, as well as scatter them on relevant pages throughout the website. On the home page we also stated the goals of the business in addition to the latest article highlighting Lynn Edmonds, Life In Focus to help visitors understand the wonderful work that Lynn offers the community at large.
